Spotlight on Seedlab Success at ABARES Regional Outlook Conference

Seedlab Tasmania showcased its successes at the ABARES Regional Outlook Conference in Hobart on Wednesday 2nd of October 2022. Attended by Tasmanian farmers, business owners, institutes, and organisations, the conference is a platform for discussion and debate of the issues affecting Australian agriculture and fisheries, and the associated affects on labour, trade, and climate change.

It was also an opportunity to meet and thank Minister Jo Palmer MLC who funded Seedlab Sisters 2022. The program was funded via the Department of Communities Tasmania in collaboration with the Cradle Coast Authority and with partners Swinburne University of Technology.

Seedlab Tasmania CEO Dr Hazel McTavish-West said. “We’d love to take Seedlab Sisters statewide and expand it to include more workshops and our Cultivate Accelerator program too”.
