Welcome New Bootcampers!
Seedlab Tasmania is thrilled to introduce its newest cohort of Bootcampers. This group includes 44 determined and diverse businesses gearing up to start their 6-week intensive program.
Let’s dive a little deeper into the final cohort.
A whopping 77% of the businesses are founded by women. Additionally, if you’re a regular at the Salamanca Market, you might recognise some of the participants, with 11% of our participants already showcasing their products their on a Saturday!
Diverse Products
From food to baby clothing, organic muesli to chocolate based fudge creations and beyond, this Bootcamp cohort presents a diverse mix of businesses and products ready to take a step further. We’re excited to highlight their individual product offerings as they embark on this journey.
Geographical Diversity
Seedlab Tasmania’s reach extends throughout the state, with Bootcampers hailing from the Southern region (66%), 16% from the North, and 18% from the North-West. This geographic distribution is a testament to the entrepreneurial energy all throughout Tasmania.
Start-ups in Focus
The majority of our new businesses have just 1-2 founders, whilst 9% are made up of teams of 3-10 founders and staff who have been trading for less than 3 years. What’s common among all is their fresh perspectives and determination.
A Word from Seedlab Tasmania
The Bootcamp program is designed to equip start-ups, small, and early-stage businesses with the knowledge, tools, and mentorship needed to navigate the initial stages of business growth. As we’ve seen in previous Bootcamps, the journey these businesses undertake with Seedlab Tasmania often leads to profound transformations, both on a professional and personal level.
We’re eagerly looking forward to showcasing individual stories, progress updates, and milestones achieved by our final cohort group of Bootcamp participants in coming weeks.
We thank the Department of State Growth for their continued support and continue our commitment to fostering, nurturing, and promoting Tasmanian businesses, providing them with the platform and support to not just survive, but thrive.
